Over 20 years in the field and 15 years in private practice have taught me to meet you where you are at and to follow your lead. I fully collaborate, offering individualized care grounded in evidence-based treatments, along with experiential/expressive modalities tailored to you based on your wants and needs. We develop a safe relationship and co-create the treatment. Our work together is "challenge by choice" and you are in charge. Most of the time, we have fun and enjoy the process. Even when it's hard or scary.

Services & Fees

Free Initial Consultation:
It is essential for you to find the right fit for you — someone who aims to truly “get” you, who you feel comfortable with and supported by. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important indicators of successful therapy. I offer a free consultation so that we can find out if we are a good fit to work together.

Insurance:
I am an in-network provider for the following insurance networks in Wasginton State:
Premera
Lifewise
First Choice Health
Kaiser PPO
In Colorado: Out of network*
(*some specific Federal plans may consider cross state providers as in-network, please check with your insurance company to confirm in-network status.)

Out-of-Network Benefits:
Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, meaning that you could choose to work with a provider not in network with your insurance and receive partial reimbursement. Please check with your insurance to see what benefits you may have. I will provide superbills upon request, which you can then submit to your insurance for reimbursement directly to you. Please be aware that you are fully responsible for the initial and ongoing payment of all fees for services, and I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company.

Private Pay:
I am happy to work with clients who pay out of pocket if I am out of network or  I am in-network but you choose to not use your insurance benefit for services. Paying privately means that your treatment is solely between your therapist and you, and that your information, including a mental health diagnosis, which is required for treatment paid for by an insurance company, is not shared with an insurance company.

Method of Payment:
Payment is due at each session. I use a HIPAA-compliant payment system through Simple Practice, which allows you to pay securely by card. You may also be able to use your HSA or FSA to pay for sessions.

Cancellation Policy:
All appointments must be canceled at least 48 hours before the appointment time. Appointments that are not canceled within this time frame will be subject to a late-cancellation fee of the full rate of the session.

No Surprises Act:
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
